Slow Cooker Brisket Sliders
Meat and Beer. What more could I guy want, right?
At least that’s what I was thinking when I decided to make these sliders for my husbands Fantasy Football Draft.
I did a short Instagram story on it a couple weeks ago and today is the day I finally get to post the recipe! Woohoo!
Being from Texas, the BBQ capital of the US, we eat A LOT of brisket.
One of my favorite parts to eat is the crust on the outside of the brisket. First off, it’s where all the seasoning is. Secondly, it’s usually a little burnt (hence it being called “burnt ends”) and crispy from being cooked so long on the grill. It’s absolutely delicious! In my opinion, it’s where all the flavor is!
Which means I had a challenge before me if I wanted to get that crispy crust while still cooking this brisket in the slow cooker.

So, why did I choose to cook the brisket in the slow cooker?
We are headed into the fall and winter months, not every body wants to shovel through snow to get to their grill. Answer = Slow Cooker.
Slow Cookers are great a tenderizing tough meats and can do the long and slow method.
Cooking the brisket in a “bath” of beer not only keeps the brisket moist but it infuses loads of flavor!
At the end of the cooking process, I was left with a moist uber flavorful beer braised brisket. All I needed to do was figure out how to get that crispy skin or “burnt ends” effect.

After mulling it over a bit, I landed on putting the brisket under the broiler in the oven.
I do the same process for my crispy chicken wings, so why not with the brisket?
Well, I’m happy to say it worked like a charm! Now that the brisket was done, I needed one dynamite sauce to accompany it to make those sliders pop even more. Batman has to have his Robin, right?
One of my husbands favorite sauces is horseradish sauce, especially with beef. So that was a no brainer.

These Slow Cooker Brisket Sliders are moist with a crispy exterior and loaded with beer flavor. They are served on sweet hawaiian rolls and topped with spicy arugula and a creamy horseradish aioli.
I don’t know about you, but I’m drooling just hearing about it.
If you’re looking for the perfect game day food these Brisket Sliders are it, they’d be a fun appetizer to serve at a holiday party too!
Not to mention the fact that all you have to do is put the brisket in the slow cooker and forget about it. Can’t get any easier than that folks!
If you’re looking to speed up the cook time, then I’d highly recommend Gina’s Instant Pot Brisket – girlfriend knows how to add same flavor to her food.
You’re going to love this recipe! Bon Appetit friends!
