A Refreshing and Easy Cocktail Recipe
We made it! Through Christmas that is. 🙂
Although, truth be told I’m kinda sad that the holiday season is over. It really is my favorite time of year and gives me an excuse to binge watch all the Hallmark movies. Cuz let’s be honest, is it acceptable to watch those in March or April?

I think the craziest thing my mind is trying to wrap itself around right now is that I have to plan a 1 year old party. I know everyone says this, so I’m definitely not in the minority but this year has gone by fast. I cannot believe that my sweet baby girl will be one year old soon.
That the tiny 6lb 9 oz baby I had will be walking soon, I’ll have to start trying to figure out how to braid her hair and then start potty training again. (Lord help me)
Whew! Alright, back to the point.

Well y’all, we are officially 5 days out from the new year so I believe we’re entitled to a cocktail. Don’t you? After all, we made it through another year.
Today’s cocktail has been a long time coming. I actually made this recipe way back in … wait for it… October! But have been holding off for the right time to post it. Why? It’s kind of a unique recipe because it’s a cocktail with kombucha in it.
What is Kombucha?
Kombucha is a fermented sweetened black or green tea drink that is slightly alcoholic with light effervescence. It has a mild vinegar taste and is commonly used for probiotic purposes and for its supposed health benefits.

Adding Kombucha to your cocktail actually adds a lot more flavor than you’d think. It has a tangy taste, along with the flavoring that that particular kombucha is flavored with and the natural effervescence. So ….
How to Make a Kombucha Cocktail:
Find the Kombucha flavor you’d like.
Add orange juice and mint leaves to a pitcher. Muddle the leaves.
Next, add the honey, vodka, kombucha and white wine. Stir and serve.
Top with fresh pomegranates.
Serve chilled.
This Lime Mint Kombucha Cocktail has a slight sangria feel to it with the orange juice, fruit and white wine. It’s light, refreshing and low calorie.
Perfect to ring in the new year with, plus it just looks festive!
Cheers friend!
